Aim
The International Journal of Veterinary Research (INJVR) provides an international platform for the dissemination of rigorous, high-quality, peer-reviewed research in veterinary science, animal health, and related disciplines.
The journal aims to advance scientific knowledge and professional practice by publishing original research articles, review articles, short communications, and case reports that:
- Enhance understanding of animal health, disease processes, and host–pathogen interactions;
- Contribute to the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of animal diseases, including advances in molecular and imaging diagnostics;
- Develop or apply innovative methodologies, technologies, and biotechnological approaches relevant to veterinary medicine, including genomics, proteomics, artificial intelligence, and precision veterinary medicine;
- Support advances in veterinary education, animal welfare, ethical practices, and veterinary public health with global relevance;
- Promote scientific rigor, reproducibility, transparency, and research integrity, including appropriate reporting and availability of research data where applicable.
Scope
INJVR welcomes submissions across all relevant areas of veterinary science, including, but not limited to:
- Clinical veterinary medicine and surgery;
- Veterinary pathology, microbiology, immunology, parasitology, and infectious diseases;
- Animal nutrition, physiology, reproduction, genetics, and breeding;
- Epidemiology, zoonotic diseases, preventive medicine, and veterinary public health;
- Veterinary pharmacology, toxicology, diagnostics, and imaging sciences;
- Animal welfare, behavior, husbandry, and animal production systems;
- Veterinary biotechnology, translational research, and emerging One Health perspectives;
- Other interdisciplinary research directly relevant to veterinary science and animal health.
The journal emphasizes scientific quality, methodological rigor, ethical research and publication practices, reproducibility, transparency, interdisciplinary collaboration, and global relevance.
As a fully open-access journal, INJVR supports the broad and unrestricted dissemination of published scholarly content to researchers, veterinarians, clinicians, educators, practitioners, and other relevant stakeholders worldwide.
