Aim
The International Journal of Veterinary Research (INJVR) provides a platform for dissemination of rigorous, high-quality, peer-reviewed research in veterinary science, animal health, and related disciplines. The journal aims to advance knowledge and practice by publishing original research articles, reviews, and case reports that:
- Enhance understanding of animal health, disease processes, and host–pathogen interactions.
- Contribute to the prevention, diagnosis (including molecular and imaging diagnostics), and treatment of animal diseases.
- Develop or apply innovative methodologies, technologies, and biotechnological applications relevant to veterinary medicine (e.g., genomics, proteomics, artificial intelligence, precision veterinary medicine).
- Support veterinary education, animal welfare, ethical practices, and public health with global relevance.
- Promote reproducibility, transparency, and integrity in research including appropriate data reporting and availability.
Scope
INJVR welcomes submissions in (but not limited to) the following areas of veterinary sciences:
- Clinical veterinary medicine and surgery
- Veterinary pathology, microbiology, immunology, parasitology, and infectious diseases
- Animal nutrition, physiology, reproduction, and genetics
- Epidemiology, zoonotic diseases, and veterinary public health
- Veterinary pharmacology, toxicology, diagnostics, and imaging sciences
- Welfare, behavior, husbandry, and animal production systems
- Veterinary biotechnology, translational research, and emerging “One Health” perspectives
The journal emphasizes scientific rigor, ethical standards, interdisciplinary collaboration, reproducibility, and global relevance. As an open-access platform, INJVR ensures broad dissemination of content to researchers, clinicians, educators, and policymakers worldwide.
