About the Journal
The International Journal of Veterinary Research (INJVR) is a peer-reviewed, multidisciplinary, open access journal published twice annually (January and July) by Green Wave Publication since 2021. The journal publishes original research papers, short communications, and review articles covering all aspects of veterinary sciences, including but not limited to:
  • Anatomy, physiology, and biochemistry
  • Pharmacology, microbiology, and pathology
  • Parasitology and infectious diseases
  • Public health and clinical sciences
  • Alternative biomedical approaches and veterinary education
The journal welcomes high-quality theoretical, interpretative, and experimental papers that contribute to scientific advancement in veterinary sciences and related fields.
All articles are freely and immediately available online for reading, distribution, and reuse.

Aim & Scopes
INJVR provides a platform for the dissemination of high-quality research in veterinary sciences. The journal particularly welcomes contributions that:
  • Enhance understanding of animal health and disease,
  • Introduce new methodologies and technologies relevant to veterinary practice,
  • Support the advancement of veterinary education and public health,
  • Contribute to classification, diagnosis, and treatment of animal diseases.

Publishing Process
The journal is managed through Open Journal Systems (OJS) version 3.1.2, an open-source platform developed by the Public Knowledge Project (PKP).

Peer Review Policy
All submissions undergo a rigorous double-blind peer review process to ensure high scientific quality:
  1. The corresponding author registers and submits the manuscript via the journal’s website, providing complete affiliations for all authors.
  2. Initial editorial screening is carried out to verify formatting and compliance with journal policies. Manuscripts may be returned to authors at this stage for corrections.
  3. Suitable manuscripts are sent to up to three independent reviewers. The editor or an editorial board member may also participate in the review.
  4. Reviewers and authors remain anonymous during the entire process (double-blind review).
  5. The editor makes a decision based on reviewers’ reports:
    • Rejection: if recommended by at least two reviewers.
    • Major revision: if requested by at least one reviewer; authors must address all comments before re-evaluation.
    • Re-review: if a reviewer declines or fails to respond, a new reviewer is assigned.
  6. Revised manuscripts and author responses are checked by the editor and may be sent back to reviewers for final recommendation.
  7. The editorial board makes the final decision.
  8. Accepted papers receive a formal acceptance letter.
  9. Articles are published online on a “first come, first served” basis.

Plagiarism Screening
All manuscripts are checked for plagiarism using iThenticate software. The similarity index must not exceed 25%.

Open Access Policy
INJVR is an open access journal. All published articles are freely available without subscription or access charges.

Publication Ethics
The journal adheres to the guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and complies with the highest international standards of publication ethics.

Article Processing Charges
No publication fees are required. Submission and publication in INJVR are completely free of charge.
