The International Journal of Veterinary Research (INJVR) is committed to promoting transparency, research integrity, and reproducibility.
Authors are required to include a Data Availability Statement in all submitted manuscripts, clearly indicating whether and how the data supporting the findings of the study can be accessed.
Open Access to Data
Where appropriate and possible, authors are encouraged to deposit supporting research data in a recognized, publicly accessible repository and provide the corresponding DOI, persistent identifier, or permanent link in the manuscript.
Suitable repositories may include subject-specific, general-purpose, or institutional repositories, depending on the nature of the data.
Data Available Upon Reasonable Request
When public data sharing is not possible, authors may state that the data supporting the findings of the study are available from the corresponding author upon reasonable request, provided that there are no ethical, legal, confidentiality, privacy, or other legitimate restrictions.
Restrictions on Data Availability
Where data cannot be made publicly available, authors must clearly explain the reason for the restriction in their Data Availability Statement.
Restrictions may include, but are not limited to:
  • Ethical restrictions;
  • Legal or regulatory requirements;
  • Confidentiality obligations;
  • Privacy concerns;
  • Client or owner confidentiality;
  • Intellectual property considerations.
Supplementary Materials
Supporting materials, including datasets, supplementary tables, supplementary figures, videos, and additional methodological information, may be published as supplementary files alongside the article where appropriate.
Data Availability Statement
Authors should provide a clear and accurate statement describing the availability of the data supporting the findings of their study.
Where applicable, authors may use statements such as:
“The data supporting the findings of this study are openly available in [repository name] at [DOI or persistent link].”
“The data supporting the findings of this study are available from the corresponding author upon reasonable request.”
“The data are not publicly available due to [ethical/legal/confidentiality/privacy] restrictions.”
