Submission Instructions
*International Journal of Veterinary Research (INJVR)*
### (A) General
* A **cover letter** is mandatory. It should briefly introduce the manuscript, highlight the significance of the research, and explain why it is suitable for publication in INJBR.
* The manuscript text must be **double-spaced**, with **consecutive line numbering** and **consecutive page numbering**.
* Sections and headings should **not** be numbered.
* Authors are encouraged to suggest **three potential referees** (with full contact details) who are independent and not from the same institution.

### (B) Research Papers
**Title Page**
* Title must be informative and, where appropriate, indicate the study design.
* Provide full names of all authors.
* Provide affiliations (Department, Faculty/School, College/Institute, University, City, Postal Code, Province/State, Country) in a numbered list corresponding to each author.
* Clearly identify the **corresponding author** with e-mail and phone number.
**Abstract and Keywords**
* Abstract must be a **single paragraph**, unstructured (without subheadings), and limited to **≤350 words**.
* It should briefly state the background, purpose, design/methods, main findings, and conclusions.
* Avoid abbreviations and acronyms in the abstract.
* Immediately after the abstract, provide **3–7 descriptive keywords**.
**Introduction**
* Clearly present the background, rationale, aims, relevant literature, and originality/necessity of the study.
**Materials and Methods**
* Provide sufficient detail to allow reproducibility.
* Established methods may be cited with references, but new or modified methods must be described in detail.
* State the type of statistical analysis and software used.
* Report brand names of proprietary products in parentheses.
**Results**
* Present findings with adequate quantitative data and statistical treatment.
* Provide parameters such as sample size, standard deviation/error, and statistical procedures either in text or in figures/tables.
**Discussion**
* Address the research question/hypothesis, compare results with existing studies, highlight implications, and state limitations.
* Clearly summarize the main conclusions.
**Acknowledgements**
* State sources of funding, materials, or technical support.
* Acknowledge contributions not qualifying for authorship (e.g., proofreading, language editing).
**Authors’ Contributions**
* Specify contributions using initials.
* Categories: conception/design, supervision, experiments/data collection, analysis/interpretation, drafting, critical revision, funding/project administration.
* Example: *Supervision: AA; Design: AA, BB; Data collection: CC; Analysis: BB, CC; Drafting: AA, CC; Revision: BB; Funding: DD.*
**Declarations**
* All financial and non-financial competing interests must be declared.
**References**
* In-text citations:
* (Smith 1980); (Brown and Smith 1976); (Winchester et al. 1995).
* Multiple citations in alphabetical order, then chronological order.
* In reference list:
* Arrange alphabetically, then chronologically.
* Include all authors (no “et al.”).
* Abbreviate journal names according to standard style.
* Provide **DOI** for all references where available.
**Figures & Tables**
* Figures: TIFF or JPEG, submitted separately. Label panels as A, B, etc.
* Figure legends: concise, standalone.
* Tables: numbered consecutively; captions must be descriptive. Define abbreviations in footnotes. Report statistical measures (SD, SE).
* Supporting information (datasets, videos, etc.) may be provided.

### (C) Review Articles
* Flexible format but should include: Title page, Abstract, Keywords, Main body, Conclusions/future perspectives, Acknowledgements, Contributions, Declarations, References, Tables/Figures with legends.

### (D) Short Communications
* Maximum **2,750 words** (approx. 4 printed pages).
* Abstract ≤175 words, Keywords ≤3.
* Body may include significance, materials/methods, results, and discussion in a **free-flow format without subheadings**.
* Limited to 2 tables and 2 multi-panel figures.
* Other requirements (Acknowledgements, Contributions, Declarations, References) same as Research Papers.

### (E) Units
* Use **SI units** consistently.
* Provide full forms at first mention (e.g., micrometer (µm)).
* Statistical expressions: ANOVA, SD, SE, etc. must be clearly defined.

### (F) Copyright
* Authors retain copyright of their articles (except for third-party content).
* Articles may be disseminated, deposited in repositories, or re-used, provided the original publication is fully cited.
* Copyright notices must remain visible and unaltered.

### (G) Submission Declaration
Submission implies that the manuscript:
* Has not been published previously (except as an abstract, thesis, or lecture).
* Is not under consideration elsewhere.
* Has been approved by all authors and relevant authorities.
* Will not be published elsewhere in the same form without written consent of the copyright holder.

### (H) Disclaimer
The publisher and editors are not responsible for errors or consequences arising from the use of published material. The views expressed are those of the authors and do not necessarily reflect the views of the journal or publisher. References to trademarks are for identification only and do not imply endorsement.

### (I) Page Charges
There are **no page charges** for publication in this journal.

### (J) Ethical Compliance
* All experiments must comply with institutional, national, and international ethical guidelines.
* Studies involving animals must follow the **ARRIVE guidelines**.
* Authors must explicitly state compliance in the manuscript.

### **Important Notes**
* Manuscripts without line numbering will **not** be considered.
* Figures should be uploaded separately as supplementary files.
* Revised manuscripts must replace the earlier version on resubmission.
* Define all abbreviations at first use.
* Scientific names: *Genus species* (italics). Subsequent mentions may abbreviate genus. |
